G-Worldwide suing Kizz Daniel for N500 Million.

Record label, G-WorldWide Entertainment (GWW) and kizz Daniel have been in legal battle for years ever since the artist breached the terms of their contract. As a result of the dispute, the artiste changed his name from ‘kiss’ to ‘kizz’ because G Worldwide has trademarked the name, ‘kiss’ However, kizz Daniel started his own record label, Flyboy Entertainment and was able to release music again. Also under his new label he released his sophomore album, “No Bad songz” But now, G-Worldwide is back in court and has slammed kizz Daniel with another lawsuit totaling N500 million. General damages in the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira (200,000,000), Special damages for breach of contract in the sum of N179,499,957.00 ( One Hundred and Seventy -Nine Million, Four Hundred and Ninety - Nine thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty-Seven Naira) and N150,000,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira) for contract exit fees among other reliefs? The label in pursuit of this course has engaged the law firm of Olisa Agbakoba legal, led by senior counsel, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, to prosecute its claims against the artiste?. The matter has since been adjourned till January 21, 2020 to hear the label’s application.?
